hello

I have almost fourteen years in the Fashion Industry and I am here to stay. The twists and turns of all that is NYC, both pop and sub-cultures and their after-effects, still fascinate me and I continually take joy in creating something that is tangible and desirable from these inspirations.

LIGHT and COLORS. Catching the sunrise on a morning run, or the sunset on the way home, brings me a ton of joy. Sunlight on a brick building at the golden hour. The colors of a handball court. The bright, lush and saturated colors of leaves and flowers in the summer. An outfit full of textures and shape in a single color theme (aka: Sally Lapointe). Expertly chosen patterns, colors and textures are all yeses and joy for me.

DESIGN, to me, is art within a defined framework. A T-shirt for $12.99 or $85 MSRP. A dress for the woman who just wants to look decent on her way to school with her kids or single woman with $10k in disposable income and a lunch date? I am always game to make the best option for each person and situation.

SPORT (& SUPPORT) has also given me the opportunity to grow, share my journey and be part of a supportive community. There is a long, hard fought battle in running into your 30’s that you have to learn how to navigate and get smart about; it translates, surprisingly, directly into everyday life skills. I am also very excited to be an official mentor for Team for Kids (https://www.runwithtfk.org) this year where I will be answering questions and giving advice to new marathoners (adults) and raising money for kids. Cheering for and supporting others in their personal goals gives me unending amounts of joy. I have had some experience in directing, mentoring and assisting in the growth of my coworkers in my career, but am looking to expand upon this experience in my next chapter.
